Call for Industry/Application Track Papers
The Industry Program at ICME 2025 aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and innovators from both academia and industry to highlight practical and real-world aspects of multimedia research. The program is designed to foster collaboration, promote applied research, and showcase impactful applications of multimedia technologies.
We invite submissions of short technical papers (up to 4 pages) that focus on real-world problems, deployed systems, and industry-driven innovations. Submissions should emphasize practical relevance and include solid experimental validation beyond standard academic benchmarks. Papers describing real deployments, product implementations, adoption in standards, and lessons learned from real-world applications are especially encouraged.
Industry/Application Track papers will be evaluated with particular emphasis on novelty, clarity of presentation, and experimental relevance. Given the focus on concrete and identifiable real-world applications and deployed systems, these papers will undergo single-blind review. Therefore, unlike submissions to other ICME tracks, authors are required to include their names and affiliations in the submitted manuscript.
Submissions of Industry/Application papers should be done via the CMT system, under the “Industry Track” category. Accepted papers must be registered and presented at the conference to be included in the IEEE Xplore ICMEW proceedings.
The deadline to submit Industry/Application papers is April 19, 2025. All submissions are due 11:59PM Pacific time.
