SS11: Challenges in vision with non-Lambertian objects : segmentation, 3D reconstruction and rendering
Motivation & significance
- Non-Lambertian objects are omnipresent : reflective or refractive materials create view-dependent effects in almost every natural scene.
- highlight the challenges raised by the presence of non-Lambertian objects in specific vision applications and make them meet the most recent advances in processing natural scenes with large view dependencies.
