SS05: Advanced Biometric Recognition Technologies in Personal Authentication using Hand-based Traits

Motivation & significance

•With the growing demand for secure authentication in various applications, such as access control, financial transactions, and mobile device unlocking, the utilization of hand biometrics for identity authentication has become increasingly important.

•The goal is to contribute to the advancement of secure authentication methods that can enhance the safety and convenience of individuals and organizations alike.

Topics of interest

•Noise interference, hand deformation, and illumination change

•Hand-trait multimodal fusion technologies

•Dynamic hand detection

•Cross-2D-to-3D heterogeneous palmprint recognition

•Stable semantic structure learning for low-resolution and low-quality hand-trait images

•Prevent attacks, probing, and the illegal access of biometric templates
